Scholarship Program
We are pleased to announce that Bethlehem Landfill Company is offering ten scholarship opportunities to students area high schools who will be admitted to college to study either environmental sciences or engineering. We understand the importance of protecting our planet, and we want to support young people who are committed to finding innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
The scholarship program is open to high school students who have been accepted into an accredited college or university to study environmental science or engineering. The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis, and we will be looking for students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
Each scholarship will be worth $1,000 and will be awarded for one academic year. The funds can be used to cover tuition, books, fees, and other related expenses. We hope that these scholarships will help ease the financial burden of pursuing a college education and enable talented students to achieve their dreams.
To apply for the scholarship, students must submit the following materials:
- A completed application form
- A copy of your college acceptance letter
- A copy of your high school transcript
- A personal statement describing your career goals, academic achievements, and community involvement
The deadline to submit the application is May 24, 2024 and all of the above requested documents should be submitted to your high school guidance counselor. We will review all applications and select the ten most qualified candidates. The scholarship recipients will be notified by June 1, 2024.
We are thrilled to be able to offer these scholarship opportunities to high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in environmental science or engineering. We believe that investing in education is the best way to create a brighter future for all of us, and we are excited to support the next generation of environmental leaders.
