Acceptable Items and Disposal Rates
Bethlehem Landfill accepts household and construction waste from Northampton, Lehigh, Bucks, Berks and Montgomery counties. Depending on the type of vehicle, here’s what you need to know before dropping off items for disposal:
Accepting MasterCard, Visa, and Discover for debit/credit card payments only. No cash will be accepted.

Car $65
- Payment by debit or credit card only
- Vehicle registration required
- No open-toe shoes
- No children allowed
SUV or Minivan $90
- Payment by debit or credit card only
- Vehicle registration required
- No open-toe shoes
- No children allowed
Pick-up Truck or Single-axle Trailer $120
- Payment by debit or credit card only
- Vehicle must be under 17,000 lbs.
- Trailer must be under 10,000 lbs.
- Vehicle and Trailer registration required
- Open Vehicles must be securely tarped**
- No open-toe shoes allowed
- No children allowed
Box Truck/Stake Body Truck/Double-Axle Trailer $120/ton
- Payment by debit or credit card only
- Safety gear (hard hat, safety vest, work boots) required – Provide your own
- Vehicle must be under 17,000 lbs.
- Trailer must be under 10,000 lbs.
- Vehicle and Trailer registration required
- Open Vehicles must be securely tarped**
- No open-toe shoes allowed
- No children allowed
**Open vehicles that are not securely tarped will incur an additional $25 fee
Unacceptable Items
Bethlehem Landfill does not accept hazardous waste, electronics, yard waste/tree stumps, tires, latex paint or concrete. To dispose of those materials, please contact the following (Bethlehem Landfill is not affiliated with these companies or organizations):
